Fancy a spectacular day out on the Great Barrier Reef, well here it is!  Climb aboard and get ready for a day out to remember.  Its off to Lady Musgrave Island for a day of swimming, snorkelling, bird watching, turtle spotting, reef walking, fish feeding and guided walks on the most beautiful island in the Barrier Reef.  Private trips also available.

8.30am:  The day starts at 8.30am at the General Aviation Terminal in Hervey Bay, if you have flown up from Brisbane or Sydney we'll meet your Qantas or Jetstar flight at the Main Terminal before heading off.  All aboard and way we go, up past Bundaberg (quick stop if required) and out to the reef.  The flight up is fantastic in its own right cruising along the coast before setting course for Lady Musgrave.  As we approach the Fairfax Island group you can see Lady Elliot and Musgrave Islands on the horizon growing as we get closer.  As the reef starts to come into view you will see the magnificently formed Lagoon which provides the protection and draws all the wildlife to the area.

9.30am:  As we arrive overhead the scenery is breathtaking.  The coral cays and bombies are clearly visible and so are the turtles, manta rays and whales during season (May-October).  The aircraft sweeps around the island and lines up to come in and touch down in the Lagoon.  On some days the island is all yours, on others you have to share.

10.00am:  After we have tied off to our mooring or docked to the pontoon its straight into whatever takes your fancy.  A swim in the clear blue waters, on with the snorkelling gear to explore or on to the beach to look for baby turtles.  Quite simply, the day is yours.  We'll be right beside you because the snorkelling here is as good as it gets.

12.30pm:  Lunch call!  By now you will have worked up an appetite the size of an island.  A smorgasbord lunch awaits with something for everyone.

2.30pm:  Afternoon tea if you want it.  You will have settled into the relaxed style of the day by now so why not!

3.00pm:  Its time to go...Back on board and home we go.  The return flight is often faster than the flight out as anticipation has turned to fatigue, don't worry, we'll wake you when we land.  Then home you go for a freshen up before whatever the night holds!  Sure beats up to 6 hours on buses and boats!
